The girls had lots of fun decorating the tree. Its a bit unorganized but I am trying to remember I'll have lots of years to decorate it how I want but not many to let them decorate.

Bye bye Tonsils

Poor baby had her tonsils out on Monday! She has had a rough week, but hopefully she will feel better soon. Pa, Nonnie, Misty & Nita were here to help is though & she had lots if sweet visitors/calls this week. We got her out of the house tonight and drove through the lights at the park in Ardmore. We did get the tree up yesterday and our decorations up...Christmastime is here!

Today was the first afternoon for ballet/tap class.  She was really excited!  Mom found this cute outfit-she loves it!!

Hannah's first day of Kindergarten was last Thursday.  She is enjoying school so far, but having a hard time adjusting to not having a nap.  We are having a hard time too-she is going to bed at 7:30, I feel like we don't see her much.

Elizabeth was being silly-making faces.  She said this is her "mad" face...I don't know where she gets that-she is a silly girl!

Monday in Branson

Today we rode the ducks around Branson & on Table Rock lake. Tonight we are at the Butterfly Palace for night time in the rainforest!

We picked pumpkins already! I hope they last. We left about 5 more orange ones on the vine. We will see if they get any bigger...

Today we are making salsa and maybe some more tomato sauce...we'll see how far our tomatoes go ;)

We have so many pickles! The cucumbers have done well in our garden and in our friend's. We have bread & butter, zesty bread & butter, and dill. We are excited to try them & sure had fun making them!

It's been fun so far, but not much produce.  I've had a few squash and about to have a tomato.  I have used some herbs I planted....looking at raised beds for next year, I have to water too much as of now.  Thankful for the recent rain.

I can't believe after today Hannah will be in kindergarten!  The year has flown by.  She is ready to be home for the summer-but I'm not sure she understands "summer" lasts three months.

Today's "To Do"...

I love being a stay at home mom & I love being a pastor's wife! I especially love it when the two collide;). We are having a dessert fellowship tomorrow night with our Deacons & their wives, so baking was on the list today. Chocolate pie, peanut butter pie & coconut (my favorite). I'm excited to get together with these sweet people that God has blessed us with!

Easter

HAPPY EASTER!!  We had a great Easter Sunday!  I'm always so tired when it's over:)  Great church service and inspiring message by Luke, of course!  We had a nice dinner at home with friends and family.  The egg hunting was done in the living room and under the front porch (due to the rain), but the girls had a great time!!   We even used Beamer to hide eggs-she wasn't very happy about that:)  I hope you had fun with your family celebrating our risen Lord!

Gardening...

Trying my hand at a bit of gardening this year....We will see how it goes.  I enjoy it, so I think it'll be fun!  Dad brought me some trees he had from the Arbor Foundation and we planted those last Saturday-I hope they grow big & beautiful!

Wacky Wednesday

Hannah's class is celebrating Dr. Suess this week. Today they dressed wacky...she wanted to wear only her swimsuit top, but I talked her into wearing a shirt under it! She had a fun day. Tomorrow is There's a Wocket In My Pocket which is Elizabeth's favorite book. Friday is Green Eggs & Ham;)

I can't believe that 2011 has already ended.  I really can't believe that January 2012 is almost over!!  We had a great time over Christmas.  We enjoyed time with Luke's side of the family in OKC, Christmas celebrations here and in Texas with my family.  At the end of the Christmas break we took the girls to the Sea Life Aquarium in Grapevine.  
Hannah was glad to start back to school and Elizabeth and I have been hanging out here at home.  The weather makes me crazy...I wish it would snow because I know the girls would have fun, but I don't think that's going to happen.  We'll see what Punxsutawney Phil has to say on Thursday:)
